Too many things ...

It's been a while since I updated my blog. I have no excuses really. As usual I have been too preoccupied with work but then again, that has never seemed to come in the way of blogging before.

So, I was invited to a bloggers' lunch that was put together by Good Homes magazine. I got to meet some amazing bloggers from Bangalore. I was inspired and completely in awe!
My dear friend Shilo and her mother Nilofer Suleman were there. The two of them have always been my favorite art bloggers. They are absolutely amazing! I also met Aarohi, who's art is so refreshing and full of colour.  Monika Manchanda, who was so full of life (her laugh was so infectious), has a travel blog and a very yummy blog. Also, I met the very cute Madhuri Kumar  who also has a delicious food blog and Nandita Iyer who has a blog on vegetarian food. I have only mentioned a few of the amazingly talented bloggers I met that day. We had a good time chatting up with Ronita Italia Dhanu, the editor of Good Homes magazine. I forgot to mention the yummy yummy food at Jamavar at the Leela Palace, Bangalore. I also got a sweet goody bag that came with a potted plant. Lets just say, I had a great time and I left the lunch inspired to create more art and blog more.

The very beautiful bloggers and lovely people from Good Homes.

This weekend I also sold a painting! This was a reprint of an art piece I made a while back. I got it printed on canvas and I added some pen and ink detailing to make it unique. TA-DA!
(If want to own any of the art you see on this blog or if you like my style and want me to paint something just for you, do let me know)

OOOooooh and from the oven, here is a chocolate fudge cookie stuffed with peanut butter. So soft and fudgy, it practically melts in the mouth.
